food: SOREL 100% Organic Coconut Sap Sugar -IFEX2017

SOREL: "It all started in 2012, when Tropical Organic Harvest Phils. Corp., (TOHPC) was founded in Lagonglong, Misamis Oriental. Because TOHPC believes deeply in living a healthy and sustainable lifestyle through the food that we all consume, we worked with our local farmers to develop our first product: SOREL 100% Organic Coconut Sap Sugar.

Committed to ensuring the quality of our products by practicing organic agriculture - a holistic process, where we make sure that our farmlands and crops are non-GMO and all natural. Through this, we help enrich our soil and make it more fertile to prevent the depletion of our natural resources.

Currently, TOHPC maintains a vast farmland in Lagonglong that is devoted to numerous coconut trees, more than 50% of these trees are fully matured and ready to be tapped. With the objective of producing for the growing demand for healthier organic products in both domestic and foreign markets, we continue to preserve traditional ways of farming while having a complete and up-to-date production facility to support our target capacity.

Dedicated to provide food that is wholesome and healthy. As part of our organic certification, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazards Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) are rigorously enforced in TOHPC's full production facility from sap collection to evaporation, granulation, sieving, drying and the final stage packaging of the finished product.

The 24-hour production facility was built within TOHPC's own coconut farm for fresh and hygienic production of coconut sugar from the newly harvested coconut sap.
